Your hosts

James & Dani

James and Dani have been working in hospitality all their lives. Everything from hotels and restaurants to bars and spas. They love all parts of mountain life, skiing and snow boarding in the winter, hiking and biking in the summer.

Avalon Co-living is their way of bringing their skills together with their passions; creating a home for travellers to share their love of the mountains.

Avo and Fiona, two wonderful dogs rescued from the streets of Bansko,  have taken to living in The Avalon like dogs to sofas.

About The Avalon

The Avalon is on a mission to create the best Co-living in Bulgaria. A space where travellers can live for a while and feel at home!

The Avalon is small enough to feel like a family home and big enough to host a fun community. A big kitchen for meals together, a small spa, laundry and high-speed internet. Central heating to keep us warm in the winter and a cool garden for those long summer days.

Avalon is a truly magical place. From the moment I arrived, when James and Danny offered me a delicious shot of rakia during a late check-in, I felt like I had a home in Bansko.

Winnie So

You can easily work from the co-living thanks to the big spaces and have fun after work, experiencing the best things that Bansko has to offer in all seasons.

Paolo Bonizzoni

On the ground floor is a large lounge with a cosy sofa corner and fireplace. This is where community life takes place; during the day it is used as a coworking space, and once a week it is transformed into a restaurant for Avalon's legendary Curry Night
